We are in a Recession - it is Full Blown - Here are alternatives to being Broke!Don't smell like the deep fryer at the local hamburger shop! Work for yourself and pocket the profit. The happy-working gang! Summer ran away; Gov't is trying 2 avoid another GREAT DEPRESSION; Where R U? Quite a week for news this week! There are a lot of people that think the government should not bail out these large companies. At first, we were some of them. But, after listening to INFORMATION (not just the front line loud-mouth news people) Yes, we are news Junkies. But, we don't just listen to one channel, or one information source. We listen to all sorts of sources from Anderson Cooper(with a sense of  humor) to Glenn Beck (who really has an  opinion!) and have learned that if the GOVERNMENT (us) did not bail out these large firms, we would have a DEPRESSION that would make the GREAT Depression look like a hick up! The Government is only trying to prevent the BOTTOM from falling out, and they can only see the top layer. If they do not fix the top do that, what DO YOU THINK would happen to the people REALLY down at the BOTTOM?  We do not think we--as a country of hard working people--want another Great Depression  ; not at this point in time! There are not the farm or farm-family; family garden resources that there used to be. Many people were hungry in the Great Depression. But, many people were able to feed their families because of their family garden and hunting. Today, that is no longer possible. Too many people depend on BUYING their groceries. In fact, today many people are depending on Food Banks for their groceries.  The Food Banks are Desperate, and have been for months!! That is why we need to be dependent upon OURSELVES, more now than ever before!! To be dependent upon ONE employer for supporting a family (both the husband and wife work at the same company) is putting ALL of your eggs in one basket! That is even worse than being dependent upon only one or  two JOBS to support your household!SO.... Why not be independent?  Why not work FOR YOURSELF? We waited for years for a woman to get "close" to being elected as President; only to have it happen the same year a young-cutzy Black guy decided to do it, also! Who would have expected that when just a few years ago; in many states, blacks were not allowed to vote MUCH less to marry outside their race! But this is a year of change; and when someone wants change just to be changing things, it is dangerous for the Infrastructures of the Country. In the 60's, there was a lot of challenge to the structure of the established country; now those people are serving in Congress and ripping the little people off! (No, I was NOT For HC) When I go to Social Networking Sites, I read about people saying they have been laid off and are worried about paying the rent, loosing their homes, they do not want to wok as waitresses or bus-boys. That work is ethical, but why make the owner rich? They are worried that the sites on the inernet will rip them off. Mine will not; check the links out! Why not make yourself rich? I am very computer literate, but have to admit that I am not very "blog" literate...ha-ha! So, please take some time and browse around the site. The links are under 'links', and the one about the Home Schooling is on a previous blog. It is an extensive link; not my site, a friend's. Their whole - very large - church is involved in home schooling. I certainly wish that it would have been an option when my children were young. They would have done much better, I am certain! But, we lived in a small village, and I was a single mom...had not met a wonderful man yet! WOW, life does get better when you get older! But, the thing that is constant about life, is change! Some of my married-engineer type friends had children that went to private schools, but I could not transport or afford sending my children there.
And, life goes on, and, now the INTERNET has LEVELED the playing field! Anyone can do Home Schooling; and anyone can work at home and be Financially FREE! The many Home business opportunities today -- NOT data procesing or surveys, or stuffing envelopes, Please! Those things can be done, if you get the right research!
